Come on, TRUE zombie Apple fanboys will have already booked their weekend trip to Auckland to be first in line for their precious JeebusPhone.
Of course, the joke will be on them when they get their first roaming bill...

I'd say a lot of people.

Well, for a Global launch that would be the correct way to do it. +1

I gotta say HTC is shooting itself in the foot by disabling bands on their phones. This iPhone is essentially a "World Phone" as well. Probably one of the most "creative"/"interesting" world phones ever. Just saying that's all.

I've never understood why HTC/Nokia have not incorporated all the bands. Yes there is some extra development upfront. But why limit your customer base to a specific market when you could sell to the entire world?

Anyone who goes to New Zealand should not be let back in by customs for being a complete tool.

The only news here is that Engadget understands the concept of time zones.

Even if you left right when you got your grubby mits on the precious, you still wont be back here in the States until July 11th. Therefore wasting a lot of time, money and self respect.

To all the anti-fan boyz, 3 words: sense; of; humor.
