Firefox Mobile concept gets detailed on video
It'll be a fabulous day when a cellphone-friendly version of Firefox finally lands, and judging by the video and details in the read link down there, that day is getting ever closer. Granted, this whole thing is being dubbed a "concept" for now, but we're definitely digging where it's headed. We're warning you, there's a boatload of information just one click away, but if you fear your eyes just can't handle it, peep the video after the break.

This 'tabs in space' feature will be quite limited with most phone resolutions.
Netfront 3.5 beta is free and has this same full screen scrolling feature.

with new Windows Mobile phones allowing for a lot higher resolution screens it should be fine :)

What is the relationship between this and Minimo?

Virtually nothing. Minimo was scrapped, and the new project is essentially a ground-up rewrite.

i don't like this whole panning to get the address bar thing. they should just do it like opera 9.3 and (possibly) 9.5. or just give me the option like pie. why make me do an extra step just to type in an address or just go back? and do you know how many times people are going to accidentally pan too far and end up zooming out? and for that matter, how do you zoom IN? seems like they're going in the WRONG direction here.
