Nokia N85 in the wild!

What's the N85, you ask? We don't know a heck of a lot about this one, but we're told that it features a 5 megapixel camera, GPS, and geotagging -- sort of an N96 lite, perhaps. The slider features the same industrial design featured on all of Nokia's Nseries devices as of late, but beyond that, your guess is as good as ours regarding target market, pricing, availability. Stay tuned for more as we get it!

Looks great, can't wait to see what it's like when finished.

Less messing with buttons with FP2. I can't imagine it's more than 2.8" and the picture does not look like anything beyond WQVGA, but you can never tell.

I bet the battery rocks though, BP-5L(1500mAh) maybe.

Seems like Nokia has their higher end feature set down. Let's just hope for a quadband WCDMA.

Cuz they won't re-release any new Nseries on FP1 platform when FP2 is already rocking.

I wish it was real but I'm being realistic here. Nokia might make some kind of slider phone with touch interface and 5mp camera but only half a year or so after they actually make anything with touch interface to face iPhone (3G). But thats just my opinion, the crazy people sometimes make crazy stuff happen, so you never know till its announced ;)

@Shinigami - 5mp w/o xenon? Take a look @ the N96- Dual LED (rumors had it @ xenon upgrade, but Nseries site specs show LED is a go).

Well Nokia are obvisosley trying to get some members from Network in Motions Geotagging.Or are Nokia using Network in Motions Tagging App?

Network in Motion have a 100million server Hit every month why would you want to compete with this?

That's a half-way decent looking handset with excellent camera specs and fairly well-featured, however....

Nokia's feeble attempt to steal 3G iPhone's thunder. It's back to the drawing board for them.

this looks perfect. but i just cant wait any longer. ive been waiting for a year to upgrade (or even longer considering i wanted e90 but never got any us 3g love). i think iphone2 is gonna win me over. unless all of a sudden some kick ass android phones magically get release dates tomorrow.

Love the look of this phone. I have always liked Nokia a lot but i am sick of waiting for them to put a decent keyboard on their high end multi media phones, not just on the E series. I want a full keyboard or at the very least a 20 key suretype. PLEASE!

Very cool. Seems phones goes bigger display, similar with iPhone's screen. If it also has DC 2.0 mm charging interface like N95, then our mobile power can charge it on-the-go. Big screen needs more power!
