The iPhone plan is already cheaper than the same plan for any other smartphone. I was looking forward to lowering my bills when the iPhone 3G came out, but I won't mind at all if I wind up paying the same.

$10 more per month, and early tests indicate that's it not all that faster. I'll stick with my current iPhone and $20 data plan.

That's not entirely true. I get unlimited data from AT&T on my 3G Blackjack for only $20 a month and that's with 200 text messages as well.
