There is also a $100 discount when getting unlimited data, making the phone $100 :D ;)

they actually don't do that "$100 off with data" anymore.
I got to cough up $300 for an htc touch while upgrading an account's phone whose contract was up for the past 3 months. (that was with the mail in rebate, by the way)

we can always count on verizon to empty our pockets :)

it seems like the only way you can get a good deal with them is if you're a brand new customer.
