three have the biggest, fastest and cheapest 3g HSDPA network in the country. they offer unlimited internet access from your handset for £5 a month and also backup onto orange if you lose the 3g signal. what more do you want?

come on! we are talking about macau and hong kong! 3 in this two countries are new, specially macau, it is bad in network coverage (btw, i'm from macau, but also live in UK) in the far east market, people don't get free phone from signning an 18months contract! they we get the max. a 10% discount on buying a new headset! therefore, iphone should drop the stupid distribution strategy, just sell the phone in should as SIm-FREE! because we always travel between china, hong kong, macau. people tend have more than one sim-card to use on different countries!

Hey, I live in HK and we do get the free phones... although they are absolute crap. At least the phones from them aren't locked. AFAIK, 3 has really good coverage in Hong Kong. I've never had a call dropped and nearly everywhere I go I get at least 2 bars of signal. I actually think 3 is a really good phone company. They seem to have the best (newest) tech out of all the HK phone companies.
