HTC Raphael to show up in Europe as T-Mobile MDA Vario IV, specs listed
Without much ado, the HTC Raphael, now called the T-Mobile MDA Vario IV in Europe, will hit streets sometime in Q2 2008. As for specs, we're looking at 158 grams, 300 minutes of talk time, 480x640 pixel screen, tri-band GSM, a 528MHz processor, 256MB on-board RAM, Bluetooth, WiFi, GPS, FM radio, and a 3.2MP camera. Don't expect a stateside release -- at least in this incarnation -- given the tri-band action, so we'll continue to hold out for the Sprint version.

As soon as I hear about a quad-band gsm version, this WILL be my next device. I think I'll skip the X1 in favor of this.

Looks great. Hopefully the Sprint Version comin to the States doesnt stray too far from this one. Id hate to have the one that looks more square.
I hope Sprint doesnt strip it of all its goodies either. But im buyin it either way.

Nice to see what I'll be replacing my Mogul with. I can't wait
That Ram alone = an EPIC WIN compared to what crap RAM we have on the Mogul..

I am confused...why would this not work stateside, is the one band that's left out between a quad band and a triband the only band that Tmobile USA uses?

Cant wait for this to come out on sprint

It will work on T-Mobile and some places with ATT, but ATT also uses the 800/850 range a LOT in some areas for coverage, so no love for people like myself unless its a quad band phone.
