That phone looks like unadulterated awesomeness. To wit, the HTC Dream is almost certainly never going to land on Sprint. As much as I like my Sero plan, their phone selection is so unbelievably pathetic that there's almost no way I'll be using them by the end of the year. HTC Touch Diamond, Xperia 1, HTC Dream, 3G iPhone... all the coolest phones are on all the other carriers. Cheap plan or no, I deserve a cool phone, and I'll switch to whatever carrier wants to offer it to me.
I thought it was already confirmed that the Diamond will be on Sprint. Probably before any other carrier. Plus it makes natural sense that the Raphael will follow. What I don't know about is the Xperia X1 since Sprint isn't that popular for Ericsons.
What are u talking about? Sprint has a good relationship with HTC, AFAIK they were one of the first carriers to have HTC devices. Also don't forget that Sprint is part of Google's Open Handset Alliance. Oh and that little 3G icon on the top of the screen most likely means that it was running the demo on Sprint's EVDO network. at&t hasn't offically joined the OHA and even though T-mobile has joined OHA they don't have 3G in San Francisco and VZW which did not support OHA at first is apparently a member now. So if u determine all that info, then u can definitely conclude that the dream is going to be a CDMA - EVDO device, and since Sprint usually gets HTC devices before VZW does, then you can come to the conclusion that Sprint will have the Dream.

ok so i eat my words, i see in a later post the specs for the dream, HSDPA. But HTC has been known to support both formats, ala HTC Touch. Dont count out an EVDO version of the dream just yet.
