AT&T-branded Sony Ericsson Z780i is exciting like white bread

We can think of at least one Sony Ericsson model we'd rather see launched on AT&T than this, but life isn't always fair, and apparently, neither is AT&T. The recently-announced Z780i seemed destined for the carrier pretty much from the moment we saw that it sported HSDPA 850 / 2100, and sure enough, the model that Sony Ericsson decided to submit for the FCC's perusal comes well-equipped with AT&T branding (and just look at that cute little logo on the d-pad!). We'll save our genuine excitement for hotter wares, but sure, we're glad to see that Sony Ericsson's commitment to the US market seems to be holding steady.
