16 devices for T-Mobile between June and August?
TmoNews has published a laundry list of devices that it says will launch between June 16 and August 1 -- 13, to be exact, with another three that aren't listed. That's a positively Japan-esque release pace, a breakneck schedule that we're having a hard time believing. To its credit, several launches that are known or well-rumored to be in the pipe are listed here, including the Motorola E8, Shadow II, Samsung t229 and t339, and Nokia 5610, but to its discredit, fanciful devices like an alleged Shadow III are also in the mix along with the BlackBerry Bold, which AT&T has an exclusive on following its launch over there that should easily prevent T-Mob from picking it up by August 1. Of course, there could be some wiggle room on those dates, and again, most of these devices seem totally plausible -- but for now we've got to file this squarely in the "we want to believe" category.

HTC Source is following this story as well. The thing they noted on the list is the Shadow III (whic they seem to think will be the Diamond). Here's the link: http://htcsource.com/index.php?option=com_content&task=view&id=281&Itemid=1

Didn't see the Nokia E71 on the list... not happy.
T-Mo, when 3 conditions are met:
1) Nokia E71 with 3G
2) Retain unlimited use on the "Total Internet" plans (don't follow Sprint into the 5GB pit) ... and, of course, offer Total Internet on the E71.
3) 3G in Silicon Valley

Ugh....
My contract expires with Tmobile at the end of August, and it doesnt seem like any great phones will be released. I been waiting for so long for a good replacement of the Tmobile MDA since I thought the Wing was a joke. I guess Ill probably be jumping ship to ATT and get an iPhone or an Xperia :)
I really wish Tmobile would have better line up of phones. They always seem to find the most craptastic phones for their line up...

I hear you brother. I've had my MDA for almost 2 years. Contract expires at the end of June. Great phone, but apparently the last great phone T-mobile plans on putting out...

I would hope - or better of, imagine that most if not all of these devices is equipped to handle their 3G needs.
Might want to add, but disclude the new Sidekick Gekko from that list - 3G wise, anyway. But, it does seem it will be intro'd before September.

It is quite sad that T-MO doesn't have the best selection of phones. However you know you guys can all just import your own unlocked phones and don't have to wait for T-MO to release anything because they probably won't anyway.
I can't remember the last time I actually bought a phone from T-MO. All my other phones I have are nicely configured for T-MO with the exception of a couple of the new NTT DoCoMo SH905i and P905i FOMA phones. Other than that all the other phone pretty much work on T-MO without a problem.
