Official: Swisscom to launch iPhone in Switzerland -- 3G, GPS, mobile TV, video conferencing rumored
So there was a little rumor bouncing about yesterday which claimed that Swisscom would land the iPhone. Today, Swisscom confirmed the deal while saying little else. What's interesting then is what the rest of the rumor, started by the leading Swiss newspaper, Le Matin, had to say. Namely, the 3G iPhone will be on sale in Switzerland this summer (on sale in the US by June) offering 2-way video chats, mobile TV and GPS navigation all powered by an even beefier processor. That certainly sounds like the same 3G iPhone we're expecting to pop at WWDC now doesn't it?

now that's what I call "good news"

Apple really should just sue the pants off these companies for leaking this kind of news. If I was in a lucrative partnership with the company who produces the most anticipated phone of all time, I sure as hell would not be leaking future product information, especially if I am some no-name provider.

apple loves "iphone rumors" and "iphone leaked information."
it gets them more publicity than they would ever want to actually have to pay for. the first iphone had more free publicity than any single product in history.

I doubt it about those features, at least here in the USA. Because AT&T only has one-way video calling and it's already too late for them too put MediaFlo onto the phone. So those specs are totally wrong.

the iphone2 processor supports mobile tv and at&t does have 2way video calling, it's just not been made public yet.

2 way vid calling and mobile tv would be nice and all but I think the iPhone 2 would be PERFECT if it just added integrated GPS, 3G and atleast a 5MP camera with flash and video recording.
That is all i want in iPhone upgrades

Thats all? Seeing the price of the current phone, could you imagine what wonderful number Apple will come up with then. They claim it will be the same or cheaper than original, but I call bs. GPS is probably A-GPS, 3G will be there for sure, and I highly doubt you'll ever see Nokia's 5MP camera on an apple device, maybe iPhone 3 :)
