According to Nokia chief designer Alastair Curtis, Nokia will be offering several -- nay, a "lot" -- more products in the US very soon. "In the next few months," Curtis promised, "operators will carry a lot of new products from us." While Nokia controls 40% of the worldwide handset market, they only have a 10% share in the United States. It seems they're not happy with that and want a bigger piece of the American pie. Bring it on, Nokia. We're ready to see these phones from you, say, in the form of an
E71 or
Tube?

I don't know about CDMA, but maybe the fact that early adopters of some of the phones are getting screwed over by lack of firmware upgrades has something to do with lack of enthusiasm, eah Nokia, eah?

Indeed. It's clear that Nokia is more focused on segmented fashion phones than serious electronic companions.

Maybe if Nokia could up their customer care from garbage to terrible, it would help.

The LIAM with support for T-Mobile's 3G would be a nice start. Honestly. It'll never happen .

Gimme the E71. Gimme. Love but want to replace my E62, tired of being able to write a book while I'm trying to navigate through my contacts...
With the Q9h and E71 in AT&T's stable, I might give up on my VZ Treos at the office!

I don't want a lot, I only want a US capable 3G N82. If their devices just supported US 3G, that would go a long way toward showing dedication to the US market.

Just as long as the N96 will support US 3G, I'll be okay. Preferrably T-Mobile's, too(if that ever gets around here)
