I have to admit, it appeals to my "geek factor", but in all honesty, it seems to offer not much value to me as a traveller. It takes less than 60 seconds to a get a printout at one of the crazy number of kiosks the airlines have installed, and I don't have to worry about "oh, hey, I'm getting on the plane, I have to hang up now to pull up my boarding pass - oh crap - the page expired".
