Everyone thinks I'm crazy, but I think it's plausible. Here's why: 1) Huge untapped US market - Steve must be tempted; 2) The exact terms of the AT&T exclusivity agreement are top secret, and we only know what they chose to leak...Jobs might have forced in an "exit clause" if enough phones are sold, and they sold a lot; 3) Verizon has opened their network to non-Verizon devices; 4) AT&T is suddenly introducing subsidies, which means a fundamental change in their contract with Apple, and perhaps they are anticipating new competition in the marketplace; 5) AT&T coverage is crap in many places, and everyone has been complaining about it.

Bill

Comments on Case manufacturers getting early 3G iPhone size specs?

1) that will never happen. 2) it will never happen. 3) it could not possibly happen. 4) will it could happen...wait..it could never happen. 5) yeah its not going to happen....CDMA hmmmmmm its not happening...sorry if you like something usuable then swicth to GSM or you can stay with "the network" and day dream.

Fadi Alsaidi

Comments on Case manufacturers getting early 3G iPhone size specs?

If this is indeed true (and of course this is all speculation at this point), the third "sensor" on the front could actually turn out to be a self-portrait camera for use on AT&T's Video-Share Network.
