The LG Vu just arrived in our store (Las Vegas, Nevada) this afternoon from FedEx but we recieved less than 5 at the moment, more to come by Friday I would hope.
We still don't have information on the pricing yet because we are supposed to talk about the phone along with the Samsung Access and Mobi TV in our Saturday morning meeting since the phone doesn't launch until the 6th.
I believe just by looking at other prices that the phone would be -
Full Retail: $450.00
2-year: $299
Mail-In Rebate: $50
Don't know about 1-year since we don't do 1-year (in the COR stores anyway).
I gauged these prices off the current prices of phones in our line up (for this market). The LG Shine goes for $169.99 and the Motorola V9 & Z9 go for $269.99 and then mail-in rebates so I can't see the new LG Vu being less than $299.99 before mail-in rebate.

full retail is $570 for cu920 and $520 for cu915

supposedly the $520 price tag for the 915 is for vu in non tv markets, but how the hell does LG and at&t have the nerve to charge more for that phone than the iPhone? no gps, and with at&t java restrictions, i bet google maps wouldn't work.

AT&T put Java restrictions on my v3xx. Everytime you want to download any data from the internet you have to allow the transfer. Every time, meaning every time Google Maps wants to refresh or download a new area on a map, you are prompted. It turns out to be every 10 seconds you hit Allow. That's only one example, but I don't know about any phones after that. I have a Tilt now. I had the v3xx but I would lose the AT&T built in java applications by swapping the security file.

you call this a restriction. although this is anoying but at least you can download and use java apps. have you tried t-mobile??? now thats a restriction. with t-mobile you can't even connect to the internet with java apps....not to defened att but people are the number one reason for that so called restriction...they download crap to thier phone and when the bill arraive they raise hill to att that they were not worn about accessing the internet..so there you have it..thank you people..thank you very much

I really want one of these, but with the newest news of a possibly cheaper 3G iphone, and all these limitations, I'm starting to lose interest.
AT&T has shit timing. They should have released this thing back in January.
