HTC spy shot reveals handful of new phones
Apparently, HTC is having a little trouble keeping people with cameras out of its offices, as evidenced by this totally great spy shot of a what appears to be a bunch of (or two) new phones. We're familiar with quite of few of these devices, like the TyTn II, Touch Cruise, and Touch you see in the upper row, but things get a little stickier down below. Save for that P3470 that's second from left, we have no clue what those slick looking square numbers are. The far left model and the far right might be the same device, but its hard to tell. It also looks like all the devices in this picture are using Windows Mobile, but we're holding out hope that maybe the model on the far right boots Android... and soon.

Update: So we figure that one of the two on the right is likely the MDA compact IV for T-Mobile, although that still doesn't explain the generous QWERTY board depicted over there on the left. Can't you just feel the excitement building? Thanks, Marios!

hmmm....still no front-facing keyboard... :( Damn you HTC! Come on, compete with Palm in this space already!

If I remember right you should never see a HTC phone with a full front facing keyboard that competes with Palm..
Because HTC makes the phone for Palm, and part of their agreement is HTC cant make a Palm looking device with their name on it.

HTC already released a smartphone with full front-facing keyboard:
the HTC S620 or T-Mobile Dash (http://www.htc.com/www/product.aspx?id=554).
I can't wait until these smartphones hit the market, but I hope pretty soon!

way to waste potential screen realestate.
If you have a friggin slide out keyboad why not extend the screen all the way to the edge.
How wasteful. I wont buy it

I believe that one with the weird numbers is "manilla"/touch flo 2.0, I remember it from the early leaked build

If I am not mistaken, this is the new MDA II for T-mobile. There was a photos of it taken in a glass case from the mobile conference in Germany. Just my two scents, but they look identical and seeing as though HTC made the first one, it's a good bet this is the T-mobile smartphone.
P.S. It even slides like the MDA

I'm wondering if the bottom left unit is the much-rumored Dream for Android.
Hmm...Android Dreams...isn't that a Philip K. Dick story or something?

I believe you are thinking of 'Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep?', the alternate title to Blade Runner.

The one in the bottom left of this photo looks like one of the phones that HTC says is coming to AT&T. The HTC Device Rep described a thin touch screen device with a sliding keyboard.
Can't wait to see.

What happened to the whole t-mobile DASH design concept with the full qwerty on the front? I'm ready for an EVDO upgraded DASH follow up, not more TyTn II tilt whatevers...

Sweet! Can't wait for the jerky, unresponsive interface without proper graphics drivers, the incredibly unstable and buggy firmware, and the gummy bear keyboard!
