What is the web browser going to be like? And no multitouch?
What is it with Nokia fanboys always comparing things to the iPhone. I know a lot of people compare phones to the iPhone, but nokia fans seem to do it almost religously; "a camera (with another up front based on the picture) which they say is "way better" than the iPhone's but not on par with the existing N-series shooters." That makes no sense at all. I have seen the quality of the N-series phones, and the iPhone holds its own to that regard.
In any case, this phone looks like the LG Vu (coming to AT&T) with different icons for the main screen. I have high hopes for Nokia as their phones always do well in regards to reception, but if you are going to jump on the candy bar style all touch screen phone bandwagon, do it right.
Jason, first of all, this is a LOWER END S60 touch device.
Secondly, the browser will be amazing considering that Nokia phones already have a technically better browser than the iPhone and with the addition of touch control it only becomes better.
Finally, are you trying to say that pictures from the iphone even come close to those from the n82? You are truely blinded by iLove, my friend.
I wonder what will happen when nokia unveil the FLAGSHIP S60 touch device, huh?
@EngadgetluvsaApple Ha.. You call the guy above "blinded", yet you claim "the browser will be amazing considering that Nokia phones already have a technically better browser than the iPhone"... HAHAH. Are you fucking kidding me? Have you even TOUCHED an iPhone?
iPhone 3G will blow this knock-off away. And whats with the stylus? Apparently the screen is not even capacitive? Who the hell wants a stylus of an operating system built upon that model?
Anyways, Nokia's hardware is generally very good, but to catch Apple they need to hire new software developers, new user interface designers, and usability consultants... Their software continues to suck the big one.
Did you read what I said? The N95's browser is TECHNICALLY superior to that of the iPhone: Download files from the browser, Save images from the browser and of course FLASH (WITH VIDEO) SUPPORT. Of course I've used the iPhone's browser before, it may feel good but it can't do more than the N95 browser.
