sling has ALWAYS worked fine on EDGE.. the settings just need to be adjusted.. dont do auto or it will "optimize" forever.. but I started using sling mobile way back with my first 8125.. on EDGE,, changed the setting and had a great slinging experience.. till i went to the 8525.. then the 8925
