Excuse me if I do not concede to your point.

While Sprint is making progress in the services they provide, in my opinion it is fruitless labor. EVDO rev.A? XOHM? Who really cares when you can't even get a signal with their service? Or once you get a signal, it will only be a matter of minutes, or even seconds before your call is dropped.

I've been smart enough to steer clear of all of Sprint and all of these MVNOs running on their network. As attractive as some of their packages are, when do they lose their value due to lack of availability?

One short example:

A close friend who owns a lawn care company running multiple crews recently dropped Verizon to go exclusively to Sprint/Nextel for the "push to talk" feature. And while he is satisfied with the push to talk, he says that moving to Sprint was one of the worst decisions he has ever made. What good is a "business" phone number that his clients and potential clients can't even reach him on? He currently has a couple months worth of credit on his account due to problems he has had with his phones.

And while this may be a specific local issue, I am sure you will see it echoed throughout the nation. And for the record, I do not have Verizon or AT&T. But I will be switching to one of those carriers this summer from T-Mobile.

xB Owner

Comments on

If this phone is supposed to be the "iPhone Killer", why is it matched up with an N95? Apple really isnt far ahead of anyone. The iphones not all that great and lacks so important features, so its really not the best phone in the world. For simpleness and creativity, it wins there. Funcunality it falls behind alot of phones. Multimedia, it probably can tie against a n95 8gb nam... All in all its a okay phone, but it certainly does not deserve all the glamor its getting. Put a simple ui and make it "purdy" and everyone will love it. And for the computers and mp3s thats also not true. Mac isnt ahead of windows and windows isnt ahead of mac. Their two different operating systems for two different type of people. As for the ipod... Alot of people are giving the ipod a run for its money. Sure its the most popular mp3 in existence, but its not the best. Its simple, fun to use, and stylish but not the best. The zune and others can certainly give it a run for its money.

oh.ppie

Comments on

Damn, almost makes me wish I was still with Sprint...almost

Eron

Comments on

I think the same as HOLD MCGROIN and disagree with RC, I 've had Sprint for years now and always bought top phone and like Sanyo for most of my phones, my wife uses the Treo 755 and no problems, Sprint is not overrated and i hate over rated like other companies specially Verizon, my plan is excellent fair &flexible, no roaming charges in US so i can use my phone anywhere, and i can use all of my best features anywhere in the Sprint signal, noy like Verizon where in some parts of the country they dont even sell their highend phone cuz their network is not updated in those areas, i pay $7..50 per phone extra an dthat gives unlimted internet, pictures and text on each phone, i have friends that have problems with every company and drop call also and most of time is their cheap or broken phones that they dont take care. is not the companies.
Anyways does anyone know if this phone has REV A EVDO or just REV 0?

deathgnr

Comments on

When it comes to cell phone companies, different places have different coverage.
