Those imbeciles put an "alphabetic" keyboard. Look at the photo on cnet. It's the most retarded thing I've seen in quite some time. It also doesn't do anything the Centro doesn't do, so this isn't going to help Sprint either, because the Centro is the fastest-selling smartphone ever and Sprint is still sliding down. Always on an unlimited plan. It was $99, when I started way back with them. I travel a lot and have no more issues with the Sprint network then any of my coworkers have with their ATT/VZW/TMO. They all are imperfect, but still beat pagers and pay-phones.

I have friends that are extremely pleased with Helio, as well (...just not the service. As for Sprint service... they are really stepping things UP! I've encountered a team approach - 2 people helping at the same time - an issue was resolved quickly and satisfactorily. The hold times were almost nonexistent.

Looks like they are making a real effort. (Time will tell)

I liken Sprint to the (Mythical) gas station selling gasoline for fifty cents less a gallon then their competitors. Would you not shop there, in the belief that your station was somehow better? I think it's in the consumers favor to support price competition, in all arenas. They are taking the lead, so far! If they improve their phone selection... it will get interesting!

Currently, waiting for the BB Curve. Always big blocks of dead space. They're decent in major metro areas, but suck outside them.

As far as the price analogy, they have high prices, credit requirements for approval, high deposits for contract, and high priced, inferior, old technology handsets. T-Mobile has no deposits, and supports the GSM standard, giving great choices in phones, since unlocked GSM handsets are abundant. People realize that a Razr was hot, but not for $50! Shame on Sprint! The world is seeing iconic mobiles like Nokia's N95, Apple's iPhone, and Samsung's Viewty. What is Sprint showing? Age, bad health, and hopeful doom.

christexaport

Comments on Sprint hits back with the Samsung Instinct

This is in response to the iPhone!?
