The HTC Diamond should be the same device T-Mobile presented at CeBIT as the MDA Compact IV. I.e. a device HTC Touch the size of HTC Touch with VGA screen, GPS, HSDPA/HSUPA, WiFi, Windows Mobile 6.1, 4 GB in-built flash storage, etc. It should be announced this month.
fwiw, a special supplement to the Wall Street Journal, 3/31/08 "Coming to a Pone Near You" (print edition) contains a reference to the HTC Touch Diamond as a "2nd quarter" arrival to Sprint, and describes it as a slim variation of the Touch.
