BlackBerry service outages keeping your weekend interesting?
Having some BlackBerry troubles? You're not alone, we've been receiving some sporadic tips on the subject, and some forum users have reported outage trouble as well, though for other users it seems just fine. Let us know how your service is doing. Or don't -- this might be just the chance you were looking for to ditch work email and get a start on that spring tan. We won't tell a soul.

My blackberry wasnt getting any emails for the past week.
Then this morning, I got every.single.email I was supposed to received this past week at once.
I went from 0 msgs, to 200 msgs. yikes!
So no, no BB outages for me hah

Problems problems problems all day long! Idiot me decided to switch from an 8700 to an 8320 last night...big mistake! Took until later on in the day before the service books ever came in. Was on the phone with TMO for about 3 hours.
I've had a BB since the original 850 pager-style model, but I am really starting to question the premium I pay for it with these continuous outages. I'm glad they at least pre-planned this maintenance, just venting at this point. Hopefully this maintenance will give them another few months of problem-free service, until the next nationwide outage occurs. Figure we've got at least one more this year.

They had "approved" maintenance windows scheduled for both 3/22 and 3/29 from 2am to 6am EST. Not that that is an excuse for anything, but possibly they ran into bigger issues during this last window. I run a corporate BES server, and I heard about the windows while waiting on hold for BB TSupport this past week. I think it is important to note that many of these outages are for BIS users ... not BES users.

Hmmm...My Pearl didn't get anything on Saturday morning from about 2am on...I started to get them when I woke up around 10ish, though.
Everything is fine now, thank god!
