Nokia N82 gets blacked out for retail
Our sights are sort of irreparably set on the N78 and N96 at this point, but let's not forget a killer handset out of Espoo that's already launched, already available at retail, and holds its own in the technical arena: the N82. The 5 megapixel Nseries badass offers a candybar alternative to the N95, thanks to a 5 megapixel autofocus camera that's ready to take the place of your average point-and-shoot -- and the xenon flash actually one-ups the N95's weakling LED unit. We really liked the original pearlescent white when we saw it in the flesh with our very own eyes, but if you simply must have something just a little meaner looking, consider this: black. Yep, the N82's been relaunched in a rather menacing gloss black, and even better, it comes preloaded with the model's latest firmware that offers photo geotagging out of the box thanks to the phone's integrated GPS receiver. Grab it now for €400 (about $618).

I bought the white one and I honestly hated it. I now still ujse my 3220 if u can believe it. yes the camera is the fastest I have seen but the functions are hard to get to and the number pad is simply shit. it has great features but when ur on the go there is no point if u cant access them fast and simply. and the web browser blows. so I gave in on features and ordered ... i know ... an iphone. but the interface is where its at. I want nokia to hook us up with lower prices and a faster os and interface. and for god sake keep the good things like xenon and for christ sake dont lose the lens cover. what good is a pic taken with a scratched lens. Nokia - confounding people.

Way off topic, but does anyone else find the lowermybills.com ad gal having the most grotesque expression you've seen for a while. Like, out of an old Twilight Zone rerun. Crazy ad, you suits up there. Crazy.

I absolutely love this phone. Got silver for couple of months now and this might be my first phone for a while that i keep longer than 3 months. Only thing missing is 3G. Perfection.

Now that's a sharp-looking handset. Very simple, yet functional. The keys are a bit on the tiny side, but since they're raised, they should do the job well.
