Tom and LordOberton... I was thinking along the same lines. I just don't know if it will happen, even with the new "openness" at Verizon. LG and Verizon have such close corporate ties. Verizon will continue to cripple and force conformity on Verizon branded phones. And I'm not sure how willing LG will be to take a phone like this through the certification process. It could mean loss of sales for Verizon on their branded phones if phones like this hit the market. The last thing LG will want to do is upset the status quo.
But who knows. I am hopeful that this new "open" network Verizon is pursuing will be a great thing.
