It's an amazing feeling to use the phone I want, on the network I want, and without a contract.

Anyway, love T-Mobile... hate their phones. The 3555 is an excellent example of exactly what is wrong with T-Mobile's phone lineup. I really don't get it, why can't they leverage some of their parent company's clout (106 million customers) and bring ONE cool phone to T-Mobile US. I mean, c'mon, I see better phones on Alltel and they only have a third the amount of subscribers that T-Mobile US has.

What gives?

supes

Comments on Lowly (but 3G) Nokia 3555 hits retail for T-Mobile

Which unloack did you use? I live in Boston, and I can't seem to find any information on weather they've got 3G here -- or not. I wouldn't switch phones yet (I'm a Treo user, and looking to upgrade to a flashier smartphone...but there's the $ issue) but it'd be great to have Bluetooth DUN working at 3G, and my wife's looking for a new phone...

Dexter

Comments on Lowly (but 3G) Nokia 3555 hits retail for T-Mobile

Strange, because I really like T-Mobile because of the Dash and other Win-Mo phones that made it there. Also, I can get other GSM phones that I like and just use them on their network (like the iPhone user mentioned).

So, I plan on staying with T-Mo and hope to see 3G service near me in the next year or so, but that hasn't been a huge issue for me either as I am typically near WiFi for heavy-duty stuff.

Student Driver

Comments on Lowly (but 3G) Nokia 3555 hits retail for T-Mobile

I completely Agree with the Above!!!

Galen20K
