We knew there had to be a good explanation for the
Vu's name
starting to show up on AT&T's wares, and this just might be it. We're hearing rumblings that the device, one of AT&T's likely inaugural
MediaFLO handsets, is apparently now set for a March 18 release into distribution channels with March 20 availability in stores. Of course, AT&T originally wanted this thing out at the beginning of this month, so we'll believe it when we're standing at the cash register with a box in our hands.

Seen it.... nice idea but kinda cheap honestly... also to watch mediaflo (the streaming tv) you have to pull out an antenna... at least on the one that i played with.

They really did wait too long to release this. I am going to assume it's reasonably price--sub $300--making it an excellent iPhone alternative. However, due to it's being delayed seeming ad infinitum, I have found myself looking into the iPhone, it now seems more appealing.
How cares if the MediaFlo wasn't ready? Just do it like they did the 3G launch: launch the phones with the hardware and advertise its MediaFlo capabilities after the network's "turned on."
