We're still waiting on the Vu to make its grand entrance on account of legal and technical woes, or so we hear. We guess we can hold ourselves over for a bit by staring at those two simple letters on the packaging for this lovely mono earbud, though, and deciding to ourselves whether we prefer the "voo" or "view" pronunciation.
no shit it's already listed...it was supposed to be out like a month ago...according to a few reps ATT is "testing the network" again with this phone...this is turning into the same Tilt fiasco from last year, where it will probably get released about 2 months later than expected...typical AT&T :(
Waiting for MediaFlo to launch? AT&T must forget that it has been launched for quite a while with Verizon Wireless. It's going to be the same channels, plus maybe one or two more (I forget), but it's the same signal and same service. So...want to think of a new excuse? Perhaps that they're having issues with the Vu...or they're just not ready yet?
I believe what Jason is saying is that the MediaFLO network is not officially up and running with AT&T right now, hence why the Vu is not being released, which sucks balls.

It's already been listed as an ineligible device for insurance too.

Actually what is going on is that we are waiting for MediaFlo to launch. The Vu is going to be one of the first MediaFlo phones from AT&T.
I work for an AT&T corporate store.

I am just telling you what I have been told. LG insists that AT&T will not launch the Vu until MediaFlo launches from AT&T. Don't shoot the messenger.

but isnt the vu the first mediaflo on their network hence releasing the vu equals the release of mediaflo?

Thank You Dave, that is correct.
