And I love how GSM fanboys point out that it works in Europe (with another SIM card of course not mentioned), well that's great and all dave but the only 2 countries I been to besides the US were Canada and Mexico and guess what... my not crippled (that statement hasn't been true in years BTW) VZW phone worked great in both countries.

Pretty dumb comment...The crippled parts are a non issue to 99.99999% of users. I consider myself a "techy" guy, I generally could care less about these features...so to answer your question, they are treating me fine..

Oh and regarding the Europe issue, not many people are flying to Europe every weekend, sooooooo not working world wide is a pretty minor issue. You can always get a global rental 2 days before you leave.
