You need to realize that upgrading doesn't erase Installer.app's record of installed applications, but it does erase the program files.

Unfortunately Ziphone's install of Installer.app also doesn't delete the ~/Library/Installer/LocalPackages.plist that Installer.app uses to track what has been installed.

If you delete this file, you can re-install BSD and get going again.
