Still having BlackBerry issues?
We've been hearing sporadic reports from tipsters today that RIM's BlackBerry back end is buckling yet again; nothing consistent or solidly dead, but enough chatter to warrant concern that these guys seriously need to rethink their failover strategy from the ground up at this point. So who had trouble today, and are you still having issues? Are you looking into alternatives at this point, or is it going to take a lot more heartburn than this to turn you away from your beloved device?[Thanks to everyone who sent this in]

I've noticed e-mails from Gmail are taking about 20-30 before they hit my bb, but I think e-mails from my company are coming in with no issue *i think*

No outage of any of B-berry services - not since last week of the big NA outage.

Thinking about trading in my trusty curve for a htc tilt. It's a shame. I don' want that clunky thing.

I'm in South florida and had no problems with my blackberry from work at all. I get all the status reports from our website, and unfortunately DID keep coming in all day. :(

I am using BES. Crackberry is reporting BIS problems.
Could it be that blackberry should (like all the other smart phones do) let NON Exchange and other WORK related services go directly to the source???
If I'm on IMAP I shouldn't bounce from now here in florida up to canada (paying the toll and waiting in line) all the way down here to my IMAP server next door to me... No?

my work email was working fine. my gmail didnt work for about an hour and a half to 2 hours. i think the only problem from what we were told was form email like that not bes email.

It seems to me, too, that BIS is unreliable in general and also very slow in the configuration pages for BIS.

My fiance was still having trouble the last time I talked to her.. she told me she had already resent service books, etc, etc.. I laughed and asked her if she still wanted to give me slack on switching from the BB to the iPhone. Oh, she is VZN in Atlanta, GA.

I was having trouble with Data on AT&T in NW Ohio on the 20th. Applications such as Telenav were essentially useless.
