Sprint has recommitted to the push to talk system, and is already testing Qchat in Denver. Setup times are equal or better to iden, with superior data capacity and a phone UI that fits in this side of 2000. As for the iDen network, Sprint has been pouring money into it since the merger, and has it running at best ever levels of call block/drop and will be around "through 2010-2011 at least."
