ZiPhone: jailbreak any version iPhone out of the box, including 1.1.3
We're not yet entirely sure how it works, but iPhone hacker Zibri's just released a new app he's calling ZiPhone, which claims to jailbreak any version iPhone -- including new 1.1.3 phones right out of the box -- without messy downgrades and baseband changes. We haven't tested it ourselves, but prepare for the onslaught of downloaders to take it offline in five... four... three...
[Thanks, Tyler and Eugene]
Update (2/13): Looks like v2 is out, and it's capable of downgrading the bootloader from 4.6 to 3.9. Thanks, Yuri.

Am downloading it rite now,
but does it unlocks the baseband aswell,
like , if u upgrade to 1.1.3 via itunes and then unlock it?
then the Faux GPS would work...

I installed the 1.1.3 firmware when it first came out. I've downloaded the program and jailbroke(?) my phone with no problem.
The only hangup i had was that there is no GUI interface for the program. I had to run it in a command prompt in order to get it to work.
Hope this helps

So does this mean I can buy an iphone and not to change anything on my At&t contract? I would really like to have an iphone but I dont want to extend my contract...

You can already do that. Go buy one from an Apple store and pop your SIM in an you should be good to go.
Hell, get one of eBay if you want...

You can't just buy an iPhone off of e-bay and pop your SIM in. It WILL NOT work. Believe me I tried. You have to activate the phone so it pairs to your SIM. Unless you use a third party program to activate the phone you will be extending your contract for 2 years.

i had earlier ran into sme prob's like - No coverage after the hack,
so i had tried to delete the old baseband which ended up messin up my phone,
now it couldnt be restored via itunes ( gave an 1604 error -dats runtime error) and was not recognised by other softwares,
Solution
downloaded new itunes 7.6- reinstalled the firmware 1.1.3
then after the activation hack, i downoaded the BSD subsystem then AnySim 1.3 for 3.9BL- it worked an the phone was alive again.
with all features of 1.1.3 working ( inc faux GPS..etc).
My Ringtones had gone Mute but it fixed itself after a sync with the computer - An patch on this issue has also been released in Installer
