Even after you've picked your password, sometimes it screws your account up and you will never be able to login again with it. I had to switch to using an alternate e-mail address to get going again. Also, the posting form at the end of each page never changes and it doesn't support logged-in sessions at all. Lame.

by the way, does anyone know if this thing does video calling? it has EVERYTHING (agps, wifi, etc), so it'll be odd if it doesnt support it. but i couldnt find the 2nd camera .. hmmmmm

Can't confirm, but video calling is listed in the specs. this also is a clue that more then likely it will end up on AT&T's network.

This part made it less impressive for me "Windows Mobile Operating System". still looking good though..!
One more thing, if the hardware is HTC and the software is WM6, where is SE exactly in this?

Does aGPS mean it uses cell tower based GPS ONLY, or is it Satellite + Cell Tower GPS? I like satellite based GPS for hiking out in the middle of nowhere, so this is kinda important to me.

According to Wikipedia, aGPS can be satellite + cell tower OR cell tower only. We will have to wait for more information, I guess.

Being a widescreen, it's WVGA (800x480) -- notice the screen looks taller than normal (4:3) PPCs.

Only issue I see is that the screen looks like it's tiny.
It is 3" diagonally, but the widescreen ratio skews that a bit, so it won't feel any bigger (probably smaller actually) than 2.8" screens on current phones.
Despite the serious resolution advantage over, say, an iPhone (or most other WM phones), the X1's screen is _much_ smaller than the 3.5" panel in Apple's phone and other (mostly older) PPCs.
Why aren't there any new, fully-featured 3.5" WM phones? (e.g. a successor to the HTC Blue Angel)
