Red Nokia N95 for North America now available
Personally, we're holding out for the more lustworthy US variant of the N95 8GB -- but for some, we imagine a reddened original N95 is just what the doctor ordered. With no fanfare whatsoever, the handset is now available alongside its black and bronze cousins for the same $699 -- not the $599 we were promised when we spotted the sucker at CES last month, but then again, we weren't necessarily expecting it quite this early in the year, either. Maybe we'll see the price drop when the US N95 8GB ships?

Why oh why can't Nokia expand their market share with a little more North America love and offer up some of these beautiful devices with CDMA?
I have always wanted to try Symbian out, but I don't have any GSM carriers in my area.

Looks nice, though once you go touch-screen, you never go back to the hard plastic-y ones :D

I did. No big deal at all, and I went from WinMo6 to Symbian and I'm in LOVE.

I wonder if they've updated the firmware on these new ones.

Doubt it. The firmware's been updated numerous times since it's initial release.
I can say having recently gone from an N95 to a K850 & now to the N95 8gb that the screen alone is almost worth the switch. .2" isn't much, but on such a small screen it really is.

hey so what's the diff. between an n95-3 with an 8gb card and the soon-to-be released n95 8gb? besides the color...
