Hands-on with Alltel's LG Rumor, say hello to the "Scoop"
Seems LG was almost as surprised to see this on the floor as we were, but Alltel's version of the LG Rumor called the Scoop is bound to please a few subscribers looking for an upgrade. We caught sight of both the blue and orange versions and took a pile of pics for your viewing pleasure. No launch or pricing details were available but we're expecting more info soon.

It's very ugly.... back in the days of the old Nokia 6110 it might have been hip but not now anymore.

I wonder if there will be a MetroPCS version too, then. It'd be a little bit of an upgrade over the Samsung SCH-R410 (adds more bluetooth profiles, memory card, higher resolution camera, video support, mp3 support, and 2.5mm headset jack).
As much as I like my R410, it would address all except 2 of my desires on the R410 (camera flash, and EVDO). I'd probably buy it.

I just ordered one yesterday! I am so exited for it to come [[i got the citrus one]]. Does anyone know why it is called the 'scoop'?

My contract is up in October. and I already have my eye on the citrus scoop. I can't wait. I heard that I can get it 90 days before my contract is up and still get the sale price. I can't wait!!!! so maybe in July.... I'll be very happy. nothing like Christmas in July. :)
