Actually if you go to Nokias website, www.nokiausa.com/A4513448, it says "Operating Frequency WCDMA 2100 + E850/900/1800/1900MHz" isnt that European and North American operating frequencies? Europe-WCDMA 2100MHZ, North America=1900MHz, right?

Yeah, but it means that following the "WCDMA 2100", the phone is capable of the other bands in EDGE/GPRS speeds.
The phone is very capable in North America, but if you want fast phone data on AT&T, T-Mo US or Rogers, this phone won't be capable of it. That's what I got from it.

IMHO 780 is too high. Maybe 699. Still cool phone but I'll hold out for the U.S. 3G version.

I've played with this phone a bit at the Nokia store in Hong Kong. It is clunky in form factor and the glossy black case looks cheap. The original N95 looks better. The E65 feels better in hand (and in the pocket) and is a better value ($300+ cheaper).
