Is this the PSP phone? Probably not, but Sony Ericsson should take note
Corporate denials aside, a gaming handset from Sony Ericsson seems to make flat-out good sense -- particularly in light of Nokia's renewed emphasis on making N-Gage a success. What's more, you figure that Sony Ericsson has swiped Sony's Walkman and Cyber-shot brands for its own devices, so why not PlayStation, too? Indeed, it seems the "PSP phone" rumor ain't dying until the phone is magically willed into existence by the hopeful masses, and here's another bundle of kindling to toss into the fire: a shot of Stuff's latest issue in the UK, featuring an unusually real (and realistic) looking PlayStation-branded handset. Of course, odds are that Stuff's graphics peeps have just taken a little creative license in rendering their dream phone, but if that's the case, we think Sony Ericsson would be wise to pay attention -- it's a beaut, is it not?

Most likely won't be out for CDMA carriers, which is unfortunate.

If it plays actual PSP games, uses an HD instead of those retarded UMDs, and has good software to interface with a computer, they would do well and fix all the current problems with the PSP.

Stuff magazine did a section this month on their dream gadgets for 2008.
As mentioned in the article, that's where this mock-up and the earlier report of "new" Aibo came from. Both are fake by the magazine's own admission.
I'm surprised either got any airtime on Engadget to be honest...

if they put a big enough hard/flash drive in it, they could go ahead and drop the UMD format since Sony is now starting to put full former UMD games up on there PSP Playstation Network (www.store.playstation.com). i realize this is just a mock up but that thing is pretty sexy.

There is a major difficulty in any attempt to get decently new CDMA features or products. I really like the handset, though, it seems it has every chance of becoming a massive hit. drug rehabilitation
