I thought that I would like the full Qwerty on my Kaiser better and fully expected the 20 key layout on the Shadow to be awkward, but I was really surprised to see myself easily carrying out instant message conversations one-handedly while carrying groceries with the other hand. Obviously you can't do that with a split Qwerty or even some of the smaller Qwertybar phones like the Blackjack.
