I never can figure out why foreign companies have their phones tested by the FCC when there's never a plan to bring them over. K858? Chinese only. Just don't get it. Are we the only people who can test for radiation?
i think, and dont quote me on this, that if a device operator even wants it possible for their phone to work in a country, they have to get that country's regulatory approval... so if somebody from Japan comes to the US and wants their phone to legally work here, it has to be approved by the FCC to do so. I could be wrong though.

I was under the impression a phone only has to be tested by the FCC if it was going to be sold in the United States.
