Seriously, please don't make us start another feature series of dumbass celebs
holding the iPhone upside down. We'd have to call it upsidedownPhone or something equally insipid, and who wants that? Just make sure the actors have held the prop -- be it iPhone, BlackBerry, bananaphone, or whatever -- at least once before and everybody's cool, aight?

More of this non-news (which I don't really mind, because I can skip) but still absolutely nothing on the news that Apple is actively tracking users data through the iPhone? Or maybe it was mentioned way before everyone else reported it last week, however I can't be bothered trawling through the thousands of iPhone tagged posts to find it.

This was debunked. No need to post news on proven non-true news.
MatthewJ @ Nov 22nd 2007 6:16PM
It was never originally mentioned whatsoever on Engadget though. Bit odd.

Um, it's Charlie Sheen. Its a miracle he's even holding it up next to his ear.
Baby steps, people.

Seeing as how this isn't the first or second time this has happened, I have a feeling this is intentional. Perhaps to avoid paying royalties?
MikeE @ Nov 23rd 2007 2:41PM
That's exactly what I was thinking.
Showing Apple logo=$$$

Elisha Cuthbert did this too in 24 (2nd or 3rd season?) with a Nokia 3650!
GoodWill8675 @ Nov 22nd 2007 2:49PM
maybe they have to use it upside down?
Im pretty sure if i was the director, i would notice that it was upside down and then fixed it
Justin Wong @ Nov 27th 2007 1:35AM
This isn't on accident... they do this so that they don't have to pay royalties to Apple for using their phones.
