These things have been on the market and Ebay for years, and the only thing they are good for is copying contacts, which is something that most phones can do themselves these days anyway.
Now if it could dupe a sim card, allowing me to keep a spare in case I lost my current phone or wanted to be able to switch between two phones (big bulky for business, slim and stylish for personal) as easily as turning one off and the other on, then this might be interesting. As far as I know though, SIMLock prevents all but authorized dealers (or those with the very expensive equipment required) from doing just that.
