AT&T Windows Mobile 6 update for Treo 750 still on track for this week?
The AT&T Windows Mobile 6 update for the Treo 750 was on track for release earlier this week -- or so we've heard -- but tumbled off the rails at the last second. Apparently some bugs were discovered and as a result everything was put on hold 'til the troubles were sorted. No word on what was broken -- and really, we don't care as long as it eventually does arrive -- but we're hopeful this could be ready for our poor ignored devices by Friday.

They are already selling treo 750s on palms website with wm6 standard for corporate users. But us regular joes are screwed again, no update or no option of buying a new treo.

part of my frustration is that all the blogs keep saying its going to be soon ... all of these are tips ... and while i love that the blogs keep giving me hope, when it doesnt happen, im even more crushed than before.
Palm should be happy that the blogs keep giving me hope ... if not for Engadget Mobile and Treonauts, I would have switched phones ages ago.

How interesting ... I was chatting on the phone with the Palm rep ... and he said that they hope to have it out by next Friday ... thats odd ... arent they supposed to be vague about the date until it gets announced?
I am going to try and get back on the phone with a different rep and see what they say.

As a new 750 owner (less than 24 hours old), I'm anxious to get this on my phone. I've been reading about it for the last few months and was hoping that the phone I was getting would already have WM6 on it, but no such luck.
Regardless, it will be nice to get the update... when AT&T finally make it available to the rest of us.

5th level support from AT&T told me in a phone conversation today, November 26th, that the WM6 update for the Palm Treo 750 will be available November 28th for current customers. But I will only believe it when I see it.
