I'm in the same boat. Until I see pictures/confirmation of the first phone running Android, I won't believe it. The tech blogs are going to be running rampant with "IS THIS IT?" posts for a while.
That's because this is the HTC Omni which runs Windows Mobile. Basically what they're saying is that they have a version of the Omni that's running Android and they're calling it Dream. The image isn't of the Dream, it's the Omni. It's just there for reference.

I guess that means it couldn't be used for anything else. Oh wait, I think they can print something else on that key.
