Samsung A747 in the FCC, yet another midrange 3G phone for AT&T?
Since the entire A7x7 line of devices has headed out of Samsung's factories right into the hands of AT&T customers, we can only assume the same is gonna hold true for this one -- especially since the test report confirms the presence of WCDMA 850 / 1900. We've heard some rumblings that this might be a flip destined to succeed the A707 SYNC, but until we get a little more action than this unhelpful outline, it's nothing more than speculation. Thoughts?

Plane or a cellphone?

Hope this is a flip, and they get some sort of color OLED display on there that can take pics when the flip is closed. Make it have a swivel camera, and actually work with my MicroSD card slot, maybe some external music controls, and you have a perfect replacement for my now dead LG CU500. The a717 is close, but not enough to replace my CU500 or make me stop using my backup Nokia 1100...

Finally, a cellphone to match the Nabaztag rabbit. Those ears, that shape- Samsung passed a rabbit through FCC.

all samsung needs to do is improve on it's signal quality and they'd blow the other companies away, they're not shy about putting out tons of phones...most of which are great in every area except signal quality, which just happens to be the most important part of a phone. rumor has it though that the sync may be on its way out before Christmas
