Now here's a possible camera replacement we'll keep in mind for our next trip to
Korea. Dressed up with Anycall branding, Samsung's SCH-W380 comes fully equipped with a 5 megapixel shooter complete with autofocus on the back and a VGA camera in the front for video calling. The clamshell also sports a triband 900 / 1800 / 1900 GSM radio with HSDPA, MP3 player and expandable memory via microSD. We wouldn't hold our breath for this device to come stateside, so it's an awfully good thing we have a
couple of 5 megapixel
options of our own 'round here these days.

That's cool, a 5MP *flip* phone. still chunky. How about an apple-ish phone with the N95 specs... is that so much to ask for?

This is the Samsung SCH-U900 for Verizon Wireless. They're calling it the "FlipShot" and has a 3MP 3x optical auto-focus lense.

It is indeed a doppelganger for the SCH-U900. But of course the SK Telecom version gets a 5 MP camera + HSDPA + EVDO wheras the Verizon version only gets a 3 MP camera and EVDO.
