The full-scale launch doesn't come until the 24th, but current subscribers can get their grubby paws on Danger's latest and greatest starting today. Needless to say, the
Sidekick LX is the best Hiptop to date; we were pleasantly surprised with the handset's build quality, the blue shell with chrome trim looks pretty slick, and the bright, crisp widescreen display is simply glorious. Can't get to the store just yet? No worries, we've got you covered with a bunch of shots that should make the day fly by just a little quicker!

Wow, that's sure is an impressive BOX! Six .... count 'em, six photos of the stupid box. Who cares about the box? I see the box of a new phone for about 2 minutes before I take the phone out and toss it in to the corner for recycling. I can't beleive you guys took six photos of the stupid box! By the time I got to the pictures of the phone, I didn't really care any more.

Until you can do better.....STFU!
Jonathan @ Oct 17th 2007 1:19PM
You've got me covered with...box shots? I don't care about the box. I want to see the phone, the thickness, a comparison side by side with the SK3...
but you post a bunch of box shots? What's wrong with you. How does that make sense or satisfy your readers.
James @ Oct 17th 2007 1:27PM
Yeah yeah bake a pie eat a pie. If you want to see other photos go to www.poweredbydanger.com or the boy genius report. If all else fails go into a tmobile store and see it yourself. Quit bitching.
Jonathan @ Oct 17th 2007 8:47PM
Wow it's time to take your midol, dude. Don't tell me to "quit bitching" when there's a post up saying "we've got you covered with pics of the new sidekick!" and all there is is a boxshot 5 times.
Your logic doesn't even make sense. I should go to T-mobile store to see the new sidekick instead of reading engadget mobile? Then why do you even read this blog? Go to the cellphone stores in your areas and ask them questions until your interested is filled.
You fail.

Everyone is aware you can go into the gallery and see a variety of pictures of the device itself, right?

ROFL! Evidently seeing 6 pictures of the box was enough to dissuade people from actually clicking on the gallery.
What a bunch of wankers! Bitch and moan about something that *IS* in fact there.
z @ Oct 17th 2007 7:13PM
I forgot to comment about this awhile back. Why is the gallery link disabled on the posts themselves? They were working up until a few weeks ago. Now you have to click on one of the pictures THEN go to the gallery.
This happens on the main engadget site too.

Guys, I'm sure this was a mere oversight...No need to get the panties in a twitter...
Brian Hensley @ Oct 17th 2007 2:44PM
It wasn't a gripe or a bitch, it was much more humorous just to note that we sure got some great photos of the box when this is actually supposed to be about the phone. The web site is called "Engadget" not "En-pictures-of-boxes". But, then again, they were very clear and .....oh, I love this trendy term, "sexy"! HA HA HA HA HA HA!!!!!!!
Hey guys, come on down to the cell phone store and check out our new "sexy" boxes!!!!!!

Shut up already

I Just Got a Hook Up With my New Sidekick LX, and love it, its realy thin, about as thin as a razor, the screen is huge and crystal clear, the opp is about the same as the sk3 but is slightly different. and no its not a rubber keybored, kinda like the sk3 buttons but more spaced out. camera is the same but pics look a little better because of the clearer screen, no video, but there is picture messaging. and a louder speaker. i dont know what else to tell you about it, but here are some pics
