We aren't saying that this is a widespread issue just yet, but a (rightfully) annoyed tipster has informed and shown us that his "refurbished" 8GB iPhone seems to have the same "negative black
issue" that some iPod touch owners are currently
grumbling about. Granted, he admits that the photo makes things look a little worse than they do in person, but the problem is still apparent. So, dear readers, are any of you experiencing iPod touch-like display issues on your iPhone?
[Thanks, Jason G.]

I haven't had any issues with my Iphone. I have about a dozen episodes of the office on my Iphone and they all look great.

I've been watching "Lost" on my iPhone (bought post-price drop) and they look better on my iPhone that they do on my PC monitor (contrast and color saturation is better).

Either you're an idiot or you have the cheapest monitor.

I have the same problem with my 4GB iphone, noticed it when watching a movie on a flight back. Definitely noticeable and almost unwatchable in some dark scenes.

No problem with screen, had the "No Service" bug and they replaced it, first screen was fine, current screen also.

@sysengr - can I ask what 'no service' bug you're talking about? I've noticed that when my service gets cut in an elevator sometimes it takes a few minutes for the 'no service' to switch back to the at&t logo even though I'm able to make calls. It's not super-annoying, but just wondering if you're referring to something similar
