Mitsubishi's latest addition to
NTT DoCoMo's high-end 905i series has us drooling. It sports an expansive 3.1-inch WVGA display (894 x 480 resolution, to be exact), a 3.2 megapixel CCD shooter with autofocus, expandable memory via microSD, and tweaks to the software to enable mobile TV, MSN messenger, and HTML emails round out the feature set. Pricing and release date are unknown, but we're guessing those key figures will turn up shortly.

I can't say I'm a big fan of the overall design but that screen is amazing. I wouldn't mind a larger screen on my VX8550

Probably not now; DoCoMo phones are locked down VERY tightly, and some don't work at all outside Japan because they use a modified form of WCDMA. On the plus side, after all the iPhone hype people are working on making the TurboSIM unlock work for other phones as well, starting with Softbank and DoCoMo. There's already a success with the 904SH (except for data, unfortunately; everything else is fine). Also, the whole of the 905i lineup is supposed to have GSM (tri-band) and WCDMA roaming (2100/850).
On the topic of the phone itself- man, that's a nice screen. When I move to Japan long-term that's the kind of phone I want to have (well, I'm torn between that and Softbank).

Will this mitsubishi phone be introduced to Australia or will it be a japanese based phone. Cause i'm wanting a phone that has a slim slide, a good camera with flash, portable television and a big screen.
Thank you
