Motorola prepping new headset, RAZR 2 "Luxury Edition" for holidays
Holy crap, it didn't take long at all for Motorola to start the process of diluting its RAZR 2 brand (sound like a familiar tactic?) with a confusing array of variants and special editions. What happened to "we will not ride one horse to the bitter end again," guys? Ah, well... anyway, the RAZR 2 du jour for the holiday season will be the "Luxury Edition," featuring gold-plated accents on a black background (could look nice or terribly gaudy, we won't know until we see it), an "engraved diamond pattern" on the d-pad, a soft touch rear, and a bunch of bundled accessories. No word on whether this one will be an EDGE-only V8 or a 3G V9, but if we had to guess, we'd say it'll probably be a V8 to give AT&T a little more exclusive breathing room. Also in the pipe is the H12 Bluetooth headset that appears to be positioned as a higher-end unit. We'll pass along visuals as we get 'em, but in the meantime, follow the break for more details straight from the horse's mouth.[Thanks, anonymous tipster]

I... want one. Even though I'll be enjoying my Curve on T-Mo over the holidays, this thing sounds nice.

Yup, Moto pimps out the RAZR 2. I wonder if Lil Jon will pick up one.

I'm much more interested in Stero-Bluetooth, decent storage, 3G, GPS Nav, and WiFi.
...keep the "paint job".

I just purchased the Motorola H12 Headset...Let me offer my REVIEW.... And i must say, i've never anticipated a headset as much as this one, but it FAILS to deliver 100%. Maybe it's only to be used with motorola phones ( which would make no sense ) but im currently using the At&t tilt and i must say, everyone can hear me PERFECTLY. One of my co workers and i did a test, i was in my car, ful windows down, music playing, and he heard me GREAT. So at least crystal talk works great, problem is, the listening volume is GARBAGE. I've seen $40 listening headsets with better sound quality then these POS's. I am happy to sy im am returning them tomorrow, especially at the $119.99 price point i payed for them. I thought this could replace my Jawbone but so far out of all the bluetooth's i have the jawbone is still the BEST. So you heard it right, IMO, Motorola FAILED with this headset. The headset it was based off of previously ( the H681 ) was great, i thought with the added crystal-talk it was the best bang.
Best bang alright, bangin it on the desk right back at the At&t store with my receipt in hand.
