LG's KU990 "Viewty" gets a date for UK release, name still awkward
Sure, the name's brutal, but the handset is decidedly not, in fact from the few hurried glances we've had, we'd go so far to say it's a stunner. The set is apparently slated to be released mid-October -- though we've yet to see anything from LG confirming that -- and while Vodafone is touted as the carrier of choice, it also is being kept hush-hush. Here's hoping we can flesh this thing out in the coming days and weeks.

wish the iPhone had a 5.1MP cam...or a gps...or 3G...heck, wish the US had a decent cell phone network.

i hope that screen shot is not an actual representation of the keypad. if it is, then they yet again failed to add letters to the numerical keypad for calls ...making it STILL impossible (other than by very good memory) to dial vanity numbers.

Well...it is all a touchscreen...maybe you can select a different view and get the characters in place?

Just called up 3 and they already have it on their system - they are just awaiting a release date :-)
